(Open to Colborne Ward Residents Only!)
The Mid-Huron Landfill Site is located off of Highway 8 at
Holmesville.
To accommodate the Christmas and New Years Statutory Holidays,
the Landfill Site will be closed on the following days:
December 27 & 28, 2010
January 3, 2011
And the site will be closing at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 24, 2011
Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Saturdays 8:00 a.m.-12 noon
Closed Sundays and Holidays
Asbestos $150.00/tonne
Banned Materials (ie; cardboard) $164.00/tonne
Cooling Systems Tagged $82/tonne
Cooling Systems not Tagged $30.00 + $82/tonne
Cooling Systems not Declared $50.00 + $82/tonne
Any sized Tire Declared Free
Tires not Declared $10.00 per tire
All other Garbage $82..00/tonne
Minimum charge per load of waste $10.00 for 100 kg or less
$20.00 for 101 to 240 kg
Banned material carries a $20 min charge
The following Electronic Waste is collected at the Landfill Site for no charge (free)
