I hereby submit a written request for Council’s approval for road maintenance on the privately owned/unassumed road located at:
For the following work by the Road Department:
An Annual Letter of Request and Understanding must be signed for each road maintenance request and then be approved by Council. It shall be signed prior to commencement of any work by the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Employees.
I understand that any/all such work is carried out on a cost recovery basis and the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh accepts no responsibility and/or liability in carrying out such work on private property and further that the completion of any/all such work does not indicate any form of assumption, of said private road(s)/unassumed road(s), for maintenance purposes.
