Are you on the list to vote for the upcoming municipal election?
If you are an Ontario resident over the age of 18 you can visit voterlookup.ca to confirm or update your information in a few easy steps. You can also change your school support for electoral purposes and add names to your property address.
Updating this information will help to ensure that municipal Voters’ Lists are accurate and up-to-date in preparation for municipal and school board elections occurring this October.

Are you considering running for Council?
The next term of Council begins on December 1, 2018 and concludes in 2022.
The Nomination period opens on May 1, 2018 and closes on Nomination Day, July 27, 2018.
To run for Council, you must be an eligible elector in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh. This means that you must be:
- A Canadian Citizen;
- At least 18 years of age;
- Reside in the Township, or be the owner or tenant of land in the Township, or the spouse of such owner or tenant; and
- Not prohibited from voting under any law.

Internet and Telephone Voting
For the 2018 Municipal Election, eligible electors will be able to cast their ballot via Internet and Telephone. There will be no paper ballots. Please see the below videos for demonstration on how this will work.
