The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh is seeking a highly motivated, results-focused individual for the position of Tax Collector / Payroll Clerk to fill a maternity leave.

Reporting directly to the CAO/Deputy-Clerk, the Tax Collector / Payroll Clerk will maintain the tax collection process, process the approved employees’ payroll, maintain the payroll records, and process the periodic remittances.

Ideally, the candidate will have post-secondary education, related work experience in a municipal environment, business administration in accounting, the ability to deal effectively, courteously, and tactfully with the general public and have well-developed oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills.
